Elijah Myers
Turning passion into purpose at just 20 years old
Every journey has a beginning. For Elijah Myers, founder of House of Barbers, that journey began with an unexpected basketball injury during his sophomore year at Champlin Park High School. What seemed like a setback became the catalyst for discovering his true calling.
Elijah's older brother Caleb, also a barber, recognized his potential and gave him his first set of clippers. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion. By his senior year, Elijah's talent and dedication led him to pursue barber school and high school simultaneously, mastering his craft while completing his education.
At just 18, Elijah made history as the youngest barber student in Minnesota to graduate from barber school. His journey is a testament to the power of finding one's passion early and pursuing it with unwavering dedication.

From Dream to Reality
The Beginning
After a basketball injury during his sophomore year, Elijah receives his first set of clippers from his brother Caleb and discovers his passion for barbering.
Dual Education
While still in high school, Elijah embarks on an ambitious journey—attending barber school and completing his high school education simultaneously.
Making History
At 18, Elijah becomes the youngest barber student in Minnesota to graduate from barber school, setting the stage for his entrepreneurial journey.
Honing the Craft
Working at Stilo Cuts in the North Loop area of Minneapolis, Elijah refines his skills and builds a loyal clientele, preparing for his next big move.
House of Barbers Opens
Elijah and his brother Caleb open House of Barbers in St. Paul's Highland Park neighborhood, making Elijah the youngest barbershop owner in Minnesota.
Brothers in Barbering
House of Barbers represents more than just a business—it's a family legacy built by brothers Elijah and Caleb Myers. When Caleb placed those first clippers in his younger brother's hands, he planted the seed for what would become a shared vision.
Today, their complementary skills and shared passion have created a barbershop experience unlike any other in St. Paul. Their brotherly bond translates into a warm, welcoming atmosphere where clients become part of the extended House of Barbers family.
